Do you want to lose weight by eating fast food? Emma Montgomery is a nutritionist, personal trainer, and weight loss warrior who lost over 80 pounds and has managed to keep it off for years. In her many viral posts she reveals all of her health and fitness hacks for burning fat and building muscle – including eating delicious food from Chick-fil-A.

Order 1: Grilled Chicken on an Unbuttered White Role

"A low-calorie order from Chick-fil-A 425 calories, 51 grams of protein," she says in the clip. "So I get their grilled chicken sandwich. The key here is I switch the multigrain bun to a white, unbuttered bun. It saves 60 calories, I believe, but it tastes so much better," she says in the post.  The chicken alone boasts 28 grams of protein.

Order 1: Zesty Buffalo Sauce

If you want to keep your calories down, skip the brand's famous Chick-fil-A sauce. A one-ounce container has 140 calories, 13 grams of fat, and 6 grams of carbs. "Always get the zesty buffalo sauce," she says about the 25-calorie alternative.

Order 1: 8-Piece Grilled Nueggets

"I get an eight count order of the grilled nuggets," she continues. This order contains just 130 grams with a whopping 25 grams of protein, per the eaterie's website.

Order 2: Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich

Her second order totals 355 calories and 34 grams of protein. She starts out with a Maple Pepper Bacon sandwich but skips the bun. "I ordered mine wrapped in lettuce," she says.

Order 2: Side Salad

She gets it with a side. "I also got a side salad. I remove the shredded cheese, I add blue cheese crumbles and strawberries, and then I get the light Italian showing 25 calories," she says.

Copycat Chick-fil-A Hashbrown Scramble

She also eats Chick-fil-A inspired meals. One of her favorite recipes is a Copycat Chick-fil-A Hashbrown Scramble from the breakfast menu. "45 grams of protein & ready in about 10 minutes!" she says, adding that one serving also has 375 calories, 30 carbs, and 8 fat grams.

Ingredients

  • 200g egg beaters or liquid egg whites
  • 85g (1 cup) shredded frozen hashbrowns
  • 83g breaded frozen chicken nuggets (I use Kirkland or Just Bare)
  • 28g (1/4 cup) reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) salsa

Directions

"Bake or air fry nuggets according to package. While they're baking, I cook the hashbrowns on the stovetop over medium heat. Spray pan with some cooking spray, add hashbrowns, and season with salt & pepper. Cook until brown," she says. "Once hashbrowns are cooked, add to your bowl as the base. In that skillet, spray again with a little more cooking spray, add egg beaters, salt, and pepper, and scramble. Once those are done, add to the top of the hashbrowns. Once nuggets are baked, add to your eggs and hashbrowns. Top with shredded cheese & salsa."
