Weight-loss drugs offer many options to consider these days, making the decision a tad overwhelming. In fact, Whoopi Goldberg had excellent results while taking Mounjaro after 65 years of age. In fact, she lost the weight of "almost two people." Here's how she lost that much weight.

According to Goldberg, her body weight has fluctuated, but it has never been a true "issue" for her, because she doesn't focus on what others say.

"But I think it's very hard for people to just know what a normal weight would be. … Everyone has something to say but no one said, 'How you doing?' Because it involves so many other things … I always felt like me, and then I saw me and thought, 'Oh, that's a lot of me.' You have to take responsibility for yourself and see what's going on with your body," Goldberg shared (via TODAY).

Mounjaro is a very popular choice of GLP-1 medications, because it imitates two hormones at the same time—GLP-1 and GIP. Other drugs, including Ozempic, only mimic one hormone, GLP-1. Studies reveal that the double-targeting Mounjaro does can result in significantly higher weight loss.
