Instead, the talkshow host committed to get healthier and implemented certain lifestyle adjustments into her routine back in 2023. After her weight loss, Lake revealed it's "the healthiest I've ever felt," according to TODAY.

One of the biggest reasons for Lake's success could be the fact that she set out on her health journey together with her husband. She Revamped Her Diet

Lake followed the keto diet. This eating plan involves focusing on high-fat foods and moderate protein intake while limiting carbs. Lake also weaved intermittent fasting into her routine, which involves consuming every meal within a very specific timeframe.
She Hiked Every Day

To boost the calorie burn and build muscle at the same time, Lake hiked every day—sometimes, she even added a weighted vest.
"I hike every single day, weather allowed. But even in the rain, I'm just out there (starting the) crack of dawn with my dog and usually my husband," Lake shared (via Business Insider).
She Did Pilates

Knowing the importance of maintaining and building strength when dieting, Lake also performed Pilates. This total-body workout is an excellent way to tone the core, boost strength, and increase flexibility.
She Tracked Her Progress

Staying on top of progress—including what does and doesn't work in a weight-loss routine—is essential. According to BI, Lake wore an Oura ring to track her stats, including heart rate, sleep, and body temperature.
She Adopted Healthy Sleep Habits

Lake optimized her nighttime routine, making sure to go to bed on the earlier side.
"I don't go out late at night like my friends. I have DJ friends, they're going out at midnight, and I'm like, 'I'm so sorry. I cannot get there,'" Lake shared (via BI). "I am way asleep by, like, 8 p.m."
